The whole goal of Gonzo City was to create a band that had
the audience guessing “What kind of music will the next song be?
Formed in the Summer of 2011, its five members bring their
distinct backgrounds to write music that has been compared to
acts such as Ween, Queens of the Stone Age, The Pixies, Old 97’s,
Tom Waits, The Slackers and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The expected
May 2012 release of their awaited first Album “Pretty and Violent”
will show Gonzo City’s miscellaneous style of music and show the
product of 5 members from different backgrounds playing various
styles of rock music in the culturally diverse city of Fort Worth.
